CEU Plan: Back by Popular Demand - Gauging Education in the Utility Industry

Back-by-Popular Demand ... our presentation concerning your operator workforce, their education, CEUs and the evaluation of training programs. I have received several inquiries concerning plans to update current programs, with new administrators in state programs desiring suggestions that might be helpful in making long term plans, training on conforming to principles philosophies state rules and regulations and asking 'What constitutes a CEU?' We produced a short thirty-minute video clip illustrating some of our approaches to operator education, our orientation for new users of our program and suggestions and ideas to consider, in updating your OCP programs. The presentation and link are available online 24/7 to suit your time and schedule:

We hope you enjoy this presentation and that it assists you in evaluating and making the best decisions for your program. During the past three months, we have been "in school", learning and absorbing new techniques and procedures to enhance our training program, as we renew our IACET accreditation. We would like to share some of these advanced training components with you in the coming months.

Currently, we are in production with a very timely Time Management series, to meet the needs of the new managers within the treatment plants. This series will address time management – "Minutes Matter" and evaluate the task and time allotment for these activities. These courses come at a critical moment, when there is much concern about planning for emergencies and accidents, applying preventive and corrective management techniques, and handling day-to-day operations.

Thank You for your time and I hope you enjoy the presentation ... feel free to share this with your board ... and should you have any questions or want to chat about it; please let us know. We are glad to help.

Have a Wonderful Day,

Bill
